It’s our own business and it’s our names above the door so we care passionately about building a reputation for first class service on all levels, and we are proud to have received recognition for our efforts having been nominated and voted for by our clients at the Estate Agent of the Year Awards (The ESTAs) – and receiving awards in 2016, 2017 and 2020 for North East Letting Agent of the Year.

There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to looking after Landlord and Tenants alike. What is a Landlord’s valuable investment, or potentially their former residence, is now the home of the Tenants and their family. It is vital that we tailor-make each service to ensure that each Tenancy is handled with the care and attention that all our clients expect.

Property professionals with experience in all aspects of the lettings and management process, from the Marketing & Advertising, Credit Checks & Referencing, to the Property Management & Accounting with a thorough understanding of legal implications and up to date Tenancy Legislation. Providing Tenant Finding Services to all Landlords, alongside single tenancy, or portfolio management.

In addition to a degree in Marketing, Steven’s path in Estate Agency started at an early age due to his family ties in the established Agency – Kimmitt & Roberts.

Simon also gained a valuable amount of experience having started his journey in Estate Agency with one of the largest agencies in the North East – covering a network of some 30 branches.

As Landlord’s themselves, they understand the necessity of maintaining a healthy, and long-standing relationship between Landlord and Tenant.

Qualified in Residential Lettings & Property Management

Based on our years of experience, we’ve come to understand the importance of Letting Agents having the relevant qualifications, and being members of the various Accreditation Bodies. For too long, we feel it has been far too easy for Agents to simply sprout-up as a ‘back bedroom outfit’ without any requirement to demonstrate that they have the means, knowledge, and expertise needed to ensure that the Landlord, their Property, and most importantly, their Tenants’ monies are being handled in the correct or legal manner.

Having both gained the professional industry qualifications in Residential Lettings & Property Management, we have a thorough understanding of the legal position of us, as an Agent, and all best practices when dealing with all aspects of Residential Tenancies.

Meet The Team

Steven Frampton

Director

Having gained a degree in Marketing (and for some reason French!), Steven worked within a Marketing Department of a national holiday provider, followed by a Marketing & Telesales Manager role with an outdoor racing venue, before starting his career in the Property Sector.

He and his wife, Joanne share a love of travelling with their son. He has a passion for photography and music, regularly attending live events. One of his other passions in life is football….although he is much more adept with the TV remote in his hand than with the ball at his feet.

Simon Roebuck

Director

Simon studied Management at Bradford University and also spent 6 months living and studying in Strasbourg, France. He then worked as a chef for two years before joining the world of Estate Agency in 2002.

He is a keen cyclist and in 2011, famously cycled 1000 kilometres from Durham City to central France for charity.

He regularly competes in (or at least attempts) Triathlon events where his results serve as a reminder that his days of 1000 km bike rides are well and truly behind him. He still enjoys using his cookery skills to entertain friends at his Durham City home where he lives with his wife Kay and their two children.

Cameron Hall

Property Manager

After joining F&R as an apprentice, Cameron progressed to his position as Property Manager.

His other passion in life is football, playing as a semi-professional Goalkeeper for Darlington FC.

A sporting professional he may be, but his diet does not exactly reflect so, due to his famously sweet tooth.
