Home#Students - Information

As former students ourselves, we appreciate that renting a property and ‘Living Out’ for the first time can be daunting.

“What bills will I be expected to pay?”
“How do I work out my monthly rent?”
“What are the transport links like for getting to and from the Uni?”
…..and in some cases, ”WHO AM I GOING TO LIVE WITH?!”

There are many questions and choices facing you.

We at Frampton & Roebuck are here to help, not just finding the perfect home for you and your housemates, but with everything that goes with it.

Whether you’re living alone, or as a group, renting a Student Property with Frampton & Roebuck couldn’t be more straight-forward.

With its various University Campus’ & Colleges, Durham is an incredible City to both live, work and study in – and we’re here to help you see in the new term with as little hassle as possible.

“Location, Location Location”
Whatever property you desire, wherever in the City you would like to be, and of course whatever your budget permits, we will help to find the perfect place for you. We have Landlords with properties in all of the Student ‘Hot-Spots’!

‘Heart of the City’ – Covering a wide area in the City Centre, from the Market Place, through the Bailey to the historic Castle & Cathedral - with its various shops, bars, cafés & restaurants along the way.

'The Viaduct' - Not only an iconic structure in the City, The Viaduct area consists of numerous streets of accommodation of all shapes & sizes within easy walking distance of the various University landmarks.

'In the thick of it' - Close to the Colleges of Hild & Bede, and surrounding the City’s busier nightspots, Clubs & Takeaways, the area from Claypath to Gilesgate also has the widest range of rental prices.

“What will I be paying”
Bills – Unless stated specifically on a particular Property, the rental prices are not inclusive of Bills for utilities and broadband/internet. (Any Tenancy made up solely of Student Tenants, would be exempt from Council Tax)

Rent – Some of the advertised prices around the City will be listed as a ‘per person per week rent’ (PPPW), and others as ‘per calendar month’ (PCM). Rent with ourselves is payable monthly.
